2 And Ahaziah274 fell down5307 through1157 a lattice7639 in his upper chamber5944 that834 was in Samaria,8111 and was sick:2470 and he sent7971 messengers,4397 and said559 unto413 them, Go,1980 inquire1875 of Baal-zebub1176 the god430 of Ekron6138 whether518 I shall recover2421 of this disease.4480 2483 2088

3 But the angel4397 of the LORD3068 said1696 to413 Elijah452 the Tishbite,8664 Arise,6965 go up5927 to meet7125 the messengers4397 of the king4428 of Samaria,8111 and say1696 unto413 them, Is it not because4480 1097 there is not369 a God430 in Israel,3478 that ye859 go1980 to inquire1875 of Baal-zebub1176 the god430 of Ekron?6138

3 Тогда Ангел4397 Господень3068 сказал1696 Илии452 Фесвитянину:8664 встань,6965 пойди5927 навстречу7125 посланным4397 от царя4428 Самарийского8111 и скажи1696 им: разве нет Бога430 в Израиле,3478 что вы идете1980 вопрошать1875 Веельзевула,1176 божество430 Аккаронское?6138

4 Now therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 Thou shalt not3808 come down3381 from4480 that bed4296 on which834 8033 thou art gone up,5927 but3588 shalt surely die.4191 4191 And Elijah452 departed.1980

4 За это так говорит559 Господь:3068 с постели,4296 на которую ты лег,5927 не сойдешь3381 с нее, но умрешь.4191 И пошел3212 Илия.452

5 And when the messengers4397 turned back7725 unto413 him, he said559 unto413 them, Why4100 are ye now2088 turned back?7725

5 И возвратились7725 к Охозии посланные.4397 И он сказал559 им: что это2088 вы возвратились?7725

6 And they said559 unto413 him, There came5927 a man376 up5927 to meet7125 us, and said559 unto413 us, Go,1980 turn again7725 unto413 the king4428 that834 sent7971 you, and say1696 unto413 him, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 Is it not because4480 1097 there is not369 a God430 in Israel,3478 that thou859 sendest7971 to inquire1875 of Baal-zebub1176 the god430 of Ekron?6138 therefore3651 thou shalt not3808 come down3381 from4480 that bed4296 on which834 8033 thou art gone up,5927 but3588 shalt surely die.4191 4191

6 И сказали559 ему: навстречу7125 нам вышел5927 человек376 и сказал559 нам: пойдите,3212 возвратитесь7725 к царю,4428 который послал7971 вас, и скажите1696 ему: так говорит559 Господь:3068 разве нет Бога430 в Израиле,3478 что ты посылаешь7971 вопрошать1875 Веельзевула,1176 божество430 Аккаронское?6138 За то с постели,4296 на которую ты лег,5927 не сойдешь3381 с нее, но умрешь.4191

7 And he said1696 unto413 them, What4100 manner4941 of man376 was he which834 came up5927 to meet7125 you, and told1696 413 you853 these428 words?1697

7 И сказал1696 им: каков видом4941 тот человек,376 который вышел5927 навстречу7125 вам и говорил1696 вам слова1697 сии?

8 And they answered559 413 him, He was a hairy man,376 1167 8181 and girt247 with a girdle232 of leather5785 about his loins.4975 And he said,559 It1931 is Elijah452 the Tishbite.8664

8 Они сказали559 ему: человек1167376 тот весь в волосах8181 и кожаным5785 поясом232 подпоясан247 по чреслам4975 своим. И сказал559 он: это Илия452 Фесвитянин.8664

9 Then the king sent7971 unto413 him a captain8269 of fifty2572 with his fifty.2572 And he went up5927 to413 him: and, behold,2009 he sat3427 on5921 the top7218 of a hill.2022 And he spoke1696 unto413 him, Thou man376 of God,430 the king4428 hath said,1696 Come down.3381

9 И послал7971 к нему пятидесятника82692572 с его пятидесятком.2572 И он взошел5927 к нему, когда Илия сидел3427 на верху7218 горы,2022 и сказал1696 ему: человек376 Божий!430 царь4428 говорит:1696 сойди.3381

10 And Elijah452 answered6030 and said1696 to413 the captain8269 of fifty,2572 If518 I589 be a man376 of God,430 then let fire784 come down3381 from4480 heaven,8064 and consume398 thee and thy fifty.2572 And there came down3381 fire784 from4480 heaven,8064 and consumed398 him and his fifty.2572

10 И отвечал6030 Илия,452 и сказал1696 пятидесятнику:82692572 если я человек376 Божий,430 то пусть сойдет3381 огонь784 с неба8064 и попалит398 тебя и твой пятидесяток.2572 И сошел3381 огонь784 с неба8064 и попалил398 его и пятидесяток2572 его.

11 Again7725 also he sent7971 unto413 him another312 captain8269 of fifty2572 with his fifty.2572 And he answered6030 and said1696 unto413 him, O man376 of God,430 thus3541 hath the king4428 said,559 Come down3381 quickly.4120

11 И послал7971 к нему царь другого312 пятидесятника82692572 с его пятидесятком.2572 И он стал говорить1696 ему: человек376 Божий!430 так сказал559 царь:4428 сойди3381 скорее.4120

12 And Elijah452 answered6030 and said1696 unto413 them, If518 I589 be a man376 of God,430 let fire784 come down3381 from4480 heaven,8064 and consume398 thee and thy fifty.2572 And the fire784 of God430 came down3381 from4480 heaven,8064 and consumed398 him and his fifty.2572

12 И отвечал6030 Илия452 и сказал1696 ему: если я человек376 Божий,430 то пусть сойдет3381 огонь784 с неба8064 и попалит398 тебя и твой пятидесяток.2572 И сошел3381 огонь784 Божий430 с неба,8064 и попалил398 его и пятидесяток2572 его.

13 And he sent7971 again7725 a captain8269 of the third7992 fifty2572 with his fifty.2572 And the third7992 captain8269 of fifty2572 went up,5927 and came935 and fell3766 on5921 his knees1290 before5048 Elijah,452 and besought2603 413 him, and said1696 unto413 him, O man376 of God,430 I pray thee,4994 let my life,5315 and the life5315 of these428 fifty2572 thy servants,5650 be precious3365 in thy sight.5869

13 И еще послал7971 в третий7992 раз пятидесятника82692572 с его пятидесятком.2572 И поднялся,5927 и пришел935 пятидесятник82692572 третий,7992 и пал3766 на колена1290 свои пред5048 Илиею,452 и умолял2603 его, и говорил1696 ему: человек376 Божий!430 да не будет презрена3365 душа5315 моя и душа5315 рабов5650 твоих — сих пятидесяти2572 — пред очами5869 твоими;

14 Behold,2009 there came fire down3381 784 from4480 heaven,8064 and burnt up398 853 the two8147 captains8269 of the former7223 fifties2572 with their fifties:2572 therefore let my life5315 now6258 be precious3365 in thy sight.5869

14 вот, сошел3381 огонь784 с неба,8064 и попалил398 двух8147 пятидесятников82692572 прежних7223 с их пятидесятками;2572 но теперь да не будет презрена3365 душа5315 моя пред очами5869 твоими!

15 And the angel4397 of the LORD3068 said1696 unto413 Elijah,452 Go down3381 with854 him: be not afraid408 3372 of4480 6440 him. And he arose,6965 and went down3381 with854 him unto413 the king.4428

15 И сказал1696 Ангел4397 Господень3068 Илии:452 пойди3381 с ним, не бойся3372 его. И он встал,6965 и пошел3381 с ним к царю.4428
|

16 And he said1696 unto413 him, Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 Forasmuch as3282 834 thou hast sent7971 messengers4397 to inquire1875 of Baal-zebub1176 the god430 of Ekron,6138 is it not because4480 1097 there is no369 God430 in Israel3478 to inquire1875 of his word?1697 therefore3651 thou shalt not3808 come down3381 off4480 that bed4296 on which834 8033 thou art gone up,5927 but3588 shalt surely die.4191 4191

16 И сказал1696 ему: так говорит559 Господь:3068 за то, что ты посылал7971 послов4397 вопрошать1875 Веельзевула,1176 божество430 Аккаронское,6138 как будто в Израиле3478 нет Бога,430 чтобы вопрошать1875 о слове1697 Его, — с постели,4296 на которую ты лег,3381 не сойдешь5927 с нее, но умрешь.4191

17 So he died4191 according to the word1697 of the LORD3068 which834 Elijah452 had spoken.1696 And Jehoram3088 reigned4427 in his stead8478 in the second8147 year8141 of Jehoram3088 the son1121 of Jehoshaphat3092 King4428 of Judah:3063 because3588 he had1961 no3808 son.1121

17 И умер4191 он по слову1697 Господню,3068 которое изрек1696 Илия.452 И воцарился4427 Иорам3088 вместо него, во второй8147 год8141 Иорама,3088 сына1121 Иосафатова,3092 царя4428 Иудейского,3063 так как сына1121 у того не было.
